Intern or Volunteer at LONG LAKE CONSERVATION CENTER
Established in 1963, is Minnesota's original residential environmental learning center. Located near Palisade, Minnesota, on 760 acres in the north-central part of the North Star State, LLCC land features diverse ecosystems such as lake shore, peat bog, and upland pine forest. Long Lake's professional naturalist/educators focus lessons on outdoor, hands-on learning and wise use of resources. More than 6,500 students and summer campers participate in Long Lake's programs every year, from schools and communities all across the state and beyond. Through scheduled visits, nearly 8,500 total annual visitors benefit from opportunities at Long Lake Conservation Center.
