OBJECTIVE: Ensure consistent programming for core audience, arrange daily Team schedules, improve and enhance the resource area for parents and caretakers.

II. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
Create thematic activity projects for 2-6 year olds and prepare “lesson plans”.
§ Create theme activities, a different activity every month
§ Lead activity projects involving youth and accompanying adults.
§ Train Team to conduct activity projects.
§ Order project supplies and maintain inventory.

Utilizing current reading materials and those that are purchased/borrowed, place themed materials within the resource room.
§ Complement with hand-out reading reference materials.

III. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of Sarah Russell, the Exhibit Area Manager of little kidspace the
Duties may include:
a. Assist in researching potential lecturers for the Adult/Child Development Lecture
Series. Prepare a reference contact list.
b. Research/implement additional materials utilizing local and national sources for Info.Kid.

IV. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED:
a. Child Development background (early-middle childhood development)
b. Human Development and Family Sciences
c. Hands-on experience preferred, including working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or Kindergarteners.
d. Organizational, time management, and communication skills. Outgoing and a self-starter.
