Special Events Intern

I.OBJECTIVE: Increase the productivity of Events Team by producing a high quality portfolio of event photographs to be used as a sales tool and compiling data to create a monthly report for Event Sales.
IIDESCRIPTION OF PROJECTS:
1.Work with events team during event setup periods, events in progress or use staged sets to take photographs documenting various setup scenarios for clients to use while in the sales process.
2.Work with the Events Sales Manager to compile data and develop a report for the monthly sales update with the Vice President for Marketing.
III. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of Senior Director of Events, duties may include:
a. Assist with staffing of COSI special events e.g. media & promotional events and fundraisers.
b. Supplement client needs with coordinators at events.
c. Participate in brainstorming meetings to create new events ideas.
d. Assist sales manager by creating correspondence, processing contracts, invoices, information packets, feedback forms and other general office duties.
IV. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED:
a. Major in Marketing, Public Relations or related field
b. Excellent Customer Service skills.
c. Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
d. Excellent written and verbal communication.
e. Flexibility, Team Player, Organization
f. Professional demeanor.
