The Library Science Intern learns aspects of managing a specialized horticultural library in the electronic environment. Duties include binding preparation, serials control, inter-library loan, database searches, bibliography preparation, cataloging, student orientation, report preparation, and patron service. Computer skills are required and previous knowledge of electronic catalogs is an asset.
This is a one-year internship with a flexible starting date.
Candidates must be in college, or recently graduated.
