| Fulfill all construction requirements within the store necessary for the implementation of sales solutions and communication needs to strengthen IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store Fulfill rooms settings based on carpentry orders, including wall construction, preparation for electrical needs, wall surface treatment, floor selections, trim and architectural details Fill all work orders including podiums, cutting boards, sintra, plexi glass, billboards, communication for promotion, etc Participate in large-scale remodels, and/or extenuating outside projects: model homes, donations, home shows, etc Maintain a safe and clean environment for both co-workers and customers Maintain store, patching holes touching up paint, repairing floors, loose trim, vinyl, podiums, etc Contribute to an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur Interest in home furnishings Multi-tasking capabilities Knowledge of carpentry tools Ability to lift 50 lbs.
