| Introduce visitors to a positive shopping experience to strengthen IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store. Greet visitors Provide direction and information to visitors by answering questions, handing out “how to shop” and/or promotional materials (maps, catalogs) Ensure your area is kept clean and safe according to IKEA standards Maintain Basic Actions Use available resources to educate yourself on product features, services and your local market/sites Contribute to an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur Requirements Proactive and courteous customer approach Excellent communication skills Willingness to share your knowledge and learning Problem-solving skills Interest in home furnishings Computer aptitude Ability to lift 50 lbs.
