Why Can't I Search The Resume Database?
We get this question a lot. Since day one, we've had a STRICT policy against allowing anyone to search our database of job seekers for one simple reason – we care about our job seeker's privacy. You see, the focus of our site (part time jobs & hourly jobs) naturally attracts job seekers under the age of 18 and even though we pre-screen every single employer and their job posting before they can use the site, you can never be too safe when it comes to minors and their privacy.
What's the alternative to find candidates through our database?
Great question and we have a great solution for you. When a job seeker applies to your job we figure that they've already consented to providing their resume and contact information to you so we make that information easily accessible through the employer dashboard.
When a recruiter logs in to the employer dashboard, he/she can view the resume and contact information for anyone who has applied for positions at their locations, but has no access to any other candidate data.
In addition to allowing you to review the candidates who have previously applied to your job, our Account Team will work with you to create awareness campaigns targeting candidates for your open positions.
Our Position on Privacy.
Our position is this; Any job board who allows individuals under the age of 18 to register should NOT allow employers to access their resume database. We're a company that cares about minors and privacy, especially on the Internet and we hope that you feel the same way.
We want your input.
We hope that our position on privacy is understood. Contact Us with any comments or suggestions.
