The Student Programs Internship is ideal for those interested in helping to coordinate resident student programs in a public garden. The Student Programs intern assists with the Professional Gardener, International Gardener, and College Internship Programs. The duties include revising student information, evaluating program effectiveness, conducting orientations and student meetings, organizing field trips, writing press releases, and working on special projects. The interns also help coordinate and lead the High School Internship Program and the Groundskeeping Apprenticeship Program. Personable, people-oriented individuals with writing and communication skills are required. This diverse position involves working with all levels of staff within the organization. The internships are one-year positions.

Candidates must be in college, or recently graduated.
